  • My Mission

At Elevated Mindset Counseling, LLC, I offer inclusive, innovative, thoughtful, and compassionate services. My aim is to help you better understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, what they mean, and how they relate to your present day struggles and challenges. Together, we will work to deepen your awareness and understanding of your needs, desires, and patterns of relating, so you may experience a more authentic and fulfilling life.

    Who am I?

I’m a proud Latina, bicultural, and bilingual (Spanish) counselor who is warm and genuine but also someone who will challenge you to engage in your self-care and self-exploration. Clients often report they feel very comfortable and open with me. My goal is to create a safe space and a working alliance from our very first meeting. My theoretical modality is centered on the principles of humanistic theory, which provides a more holistic treatment approach that builds upon a person’s skills and positive characteristics to help them attain personal fulfillment.

What clients can expect to take away from a session with me?

Our first session will be dedicated to understanding your presenting concerns, perceived barriers to treatment, strengths, and goals for therapy. I will explain in detail your rights and responsibilities as a client, what to expect from me as your counselor, and what therapy will consist of moving forward. Using a collaborative approach, you will leave our sessions with an understanding of and clarity on presenting concerns and potential solutions for positive change.

I may be the right therapist for you if ...

✅  You are ready for change and highly motivated to put in the work.

✅ You prefer someone who is direct, to the point, and authentic.

✅ You are ready to examine stressors or perceived barriers from a culturally-sensitive lens.

✅ You are ready to walk through the past (childhood, relationships, experiences) to see how it impacts your present day situation.
